Hi Frances,
I can add your blog to the feed of feeds but first I need an altc2011 specific feed. You need to add your post(s) to either a category or tag that’s specific to the conference. Most people have been using altc2011 but it actually doesn’t matter what the tag/category is, just that it’s used only on the conference related posts..

Accreditation, CMALT & UKPSF
In relation to the ALT Trustees election, I’ve just been asked by @lawrie “Where do you stand on accreditation, CMALT and UKPSF?”.
Honest answer Lawrie: I don’t have a position on this, as it’s not something I’ve come across & had to consider. I’ve clearly got a lot to learn.

@BLE1 why not go for something in between - longer but still short posts with a few more details than a tweet allows. You’ve got me thinking I should use this Tumblr account for that very thing. Maybe I will. Although my travels aren’t as varied and interesting as yours I’m sure.

I don’t know if it works for all themes, but my colleague did a code edit which worked on our wp site (our theme is based on Twenty Ten theme)

Remove All Powerpoint Notes
Just discovered this, excellent. You can remove all your Notes from all slides at once. Great when for occasions you want to share slides but not your notes.
See http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00178.htm for Office 2007 and earlier. For Office 2010 then it’s:
File > Info > Check for Issues > Inspect Document > inspect > remove All (Presentation Notes).

Google Moderator
I just discovered Google Moderator, which looks to be a great tool for collating questions & ideas from a networked audience.
It was used this morning at #estict in a presentation by Derek Bruff. Take a look at it and you’ll see the questions the audience were asking (as of 11:50 there are 27 questions from 13 people, with 92 good/bad question votes).

Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey
Just had a quick flick through the 2010 Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey report. Comments on feedback caught my eye; as with the NSS (I think) satisfaction with feedback is lower than for other aspects of teaching.
